With the economy on the mend and corporate business picking up we are in Growth Mode! Both in staff (see profiles of recent additions further in newsletter), adding more events to our calendar and expanding our sales efforts to the United Kingdom and Europe as a result of new relationships established during planning of our Summer Games activities.
As always in the end, the way we grow best is referrals from clients and friends who know us best.

2012 Summer Games - London
July 27th - August 12th, 2012
DowEvents will be in London during the summer of 2012 at the Summer Games. We will offer hotel accommodations at both the Courthouse Doubletree just off Regents Street and the Novatel conveniently located on the south bank of the Thames, just minutes from the London Eye and other area attractions. Our Games experience will be customized for each guest or group. Please contact us directly to learn more about our London Games availability and offerings. Also, look for an announcement in the near future on an exciting, cutting edge hospitality venue during the Games as well.

2012 Ryder Cup - Chicago Area, Medinah Country Club
September 27th - October 1st, 2012
DowEvents has hosted customers at every Ryder Cup since the '97 version at Valderrama on the Costa del Sol. At the 2012 event, we have secured a hospitality location right across the street from the golf course. We will again bring in our Culinary Team to delight our guests over the 3 days of competition. We are featuring accommodations at 5-star The Peninsula Hotel in Chicago, with our transportation team on site to move our clients back and forth to the golf course. We will of course organize all the evening activities as part of our customized package approach for you. We look forward to welcoming you to Chicago in September!!

Greg Norman enjoyed a private dinner and evening at DowEvents Jones Creek Hospitality House as part of a group attending the Tournament.

New Additions at Dowevents
 It is with great pleasure DowEvents announces that after having worked with us for 10 months, Lisa McGregor has officially joined us as the Managing Director of Events.
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality business, Lisa McGregor comes with major logistical and operational expertise. Her planning and operations of programs surrounding events include 5 Olympic Games, 3 FIFA World Cups and numerous others such as Super Bowl, Masters, Final Four and Wimbledon. Her background also includes coordinating a variety of events such as meetings, incentives, conferences and shows.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Lisa has lived is such amazing places as Sydney, Australia; Hawaii, and San Francisco and now resides in Atlanta, Georgia representing DowEvents on the East Coast.

 We are also very pleased to announce that Sheana Wilkinson has recently joined the DowEvents Team as the new Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator. Sheana is an accomplished Sales and Marketing strategist with a very successful background in managing large-scale business clients.
She excels in the details that bring high-level service to critical business relationships. Sheana was raised in southern Oregon, has lived abroad, and most recently moved back to the area from Wasilla , Alaska.
